It’s been 30 years since the passing of KURT COBAIN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Times have changed… but “COBAIN’S SCREAM”<\/strong> is more relevant than ever.<\/p>\n

A scream<\/strong> that tells the anxieties of a nearly detached generation<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

harsh and sarcastic yet alive and poignant…<\/p>\n

laden with existential melancholy and at the same time engulfed by a “void of meaning”<\/strong>, by increasingly inverted values and by distorted models, offspring<\/strong> of a society often a “bad teacher” that confuses and deceives.<\/p>\n

Moved by the urgency<\/strong> and the feeling of giving voice to today’s adolescents<\/strong>, we wanted to scream<\/strong> too…<\/p>\n

alongside them… and for them…<\/p>\n

With respect and humility, we felt the need to reinterpret<\/p>\n

the NIRVANA song titled SCHOOL<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

a “means” to give voice to all those intense, extreme, and contradictory emotions<\/strong> of which we are often hostage, like insecurity and arrogance, fragility and anger, rebellion and fear, egocentrism<\/p>\n

and the need for love<\/strong> that unites us all.<\/p>\n

We are honored and moved by the inspiration that has “enveloped” us<\/p>\n

in being able to tell<\/strong>, through our rough and evocative vision<\/strong>, the essence of this song in today’s world,<\/p>\n

35 years after its first release.<\/p>\n

Dedicated to the world of the young<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

a world often misunderstood and tumultuous…<\/p>\n

SCHOOL<\/strong>… for those adolescents who would like to scream<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

but who most of the time<\/p>\n

do not have the strength or are convinced that their scream<\/p>\n

would fall into unheard silence…<\/p>\n

where “silence” and “misunderstanding”<\/p>\n

create a “distance” that seems insurmountable…<\/p>\n

SCHOOL<\/strong>… a “silent scream” and sometimes desperate made of<\/p>\n

disenchanted, provocative, aggressive, and… self-harming behaviors…<\/p>\n

the only language<\/strong> known to those who do not know how to ask for help.<\/p>\n

SCHOOL<\/strong>… a journey into the depths of the soul<\/strong> of adolescents<\/p>\n

in search of themselves and their identity<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

An identity<\/strong> in “becoming” made of needs… discomforts… dreams… dangers… deceptions…<\/p>\n

illusions… anxieties… and aspirations…<\/p>\n

Times have changed… but COBAIN’S SCREAM<\/strong> is more relevant than ever…<\/p>\n

and SCHOOL<\/strong> has become Our “Silent Scream”… liberating…<\/p>\n

…a spark in the darkness<\/strong>…<\/p>\n
